As stated in the Pool Facility Rules (Rule #6), homeowners that host pool events that
include ten (10) or more non-members at the pool, including swimmers and non-
swimmers, will require the hiring of additional lifeguards by the member host. All
expenses related to the hiring of additional lifeguards are the hosting member’s
responsibility. One lifeguard will be required for every 25 guests. Occupancy is limited to
fire code standards. Functions regarding the pool must be approved by the Pool
Committee.
The hosting member must contact United Pools, at least two (2) weeks in advance, to

UPDATED POOL RULES 2024
The Pool Rules have been updated to reflect the current standards. Please take a minute and familiarize
yourself since there have been a few changes and updates.
1. The Pool Hours are 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
2. Residents are required to utilize the key FOB System for pool use. Residents are
advised not to indiscriminately allow access to individuals who cannot provide
proof of their own FOB ownership.
3. The lifeguards always have full authority at the pool and are authorized to
institute additional rules or restrictions as conditions warrant.
4. In the event of visible lightning or the sound of thunder, the pool will be cleared,
and will remain cleared of swimmers, until 30-minutes after the last visible
lightning or sound of thunder. Pool patrons must stay at least 6 feet away from
the pool until such time as the lifeguard declares the pool safe to re-enter. No
sitting on the edge of the pool, including the wading pool.
5. Children under the age of thirteen (13) may not use the pool unsupervised at any time.
6. Visitors must be accompanied by the homeowner/resident while using the pool.
An additional lifeguard is required for any event that will include 10 or more non-
members at the pool, this includes swimmers and non-swimmers. One lifeguard

7. Use of the deep end is limited to those who are able to swim the width of the
pool. The lifeguard has the authority to determine who will be allowed to swim at
this depth. NONSWIMMERS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE DEEP END OF
THE POOL REGARDLESS OF USE OF FLOTATION OR OTHER SAFETY
DEVICES.
8. The lifeguard is required to be seated in the chair atop the lifeguard stand at all
times while he/she is on duty. The lifeguard stand/chair is for the exclusive use of
the on-duty lifeguard. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DIVING, JUMPING OR
OTHER USE OF THE LIFEGUARD STAND BY ANY UNAUTHORIZED
PERSONNEL OR RESIDENTS.
9. The wading pool is for use by toddler age children ONLY. The supervision and
safety of the users of the wading pool will be the responsibility of the parents or
caregivers of those children using the facility. The lifeguards are NOT
responsible for supervising the wading pool. Non-potty-trained children must
wear plastic, watertight garments (swim diapers) while using the pool. Disposable
diapers are not sufficient protection.
10.At forty-five (45) minutes past each hour, the pool will be cleared of all people
under the age of eighteen (18) years of age for a period of 15 minutes.
EXCEPTIONS INCLUDE PHYSICALLY OR MENTALLY CHALLENGED
PEOPLE (REGARDLESS OF AGE) AND/OR INFANTS UNDER THE AGE OF
TWENTY FOUR (24) MONTHS WHO MUST BE ACCOMPANIED IN THE POOL
BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
During this time, lifeguards will NOT be on duty. Adults eighteen (18) and over
may swim at their own risk.
11.No diving in water less than 6 feet. Running, horseplay, and roughhousing will
not be tolerated. No pets, bikes, or skating of any kind is allowed at the pool facility.
12.The telephone is for emergency use only to call the police, fire department or
EMS personnel. The line must be always kept clear.
13.Radios should be kept at a level which does not disturb those pool patrons near you.
14.No glass containers in the facility. Please dispose of garbage and waste properly.
15.Personal belongings left at the pool will be collected at the end of each day, and
will be donated to charity on a regular basis. WWS HOA and the lifeguards are
not responsible for items lost, stolen, or ruined while at the pool facility. Please
check lost and found promptly after noticing missing items.
16.Persons with open or infected wounds will not be allowed to swim.
17.Smoking is prohibited at the pool.
18.Any toy, object, or inflatable item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the
lifeguards will be removed from the pool. The lifeguards have the right to
confiscate any items deemed dangerous to be returned to the owner upon
leaving the pool facility.
19.Non-observance of pool rules will be referred to the Pool Committee and the
Wildwood Springs Board of Director for further review and action.
